Moxey Scholars
Each year the Leo A. Moxey Memorial Foundation will recognize the growth of four young people from the Greater Orlando Community and two from Toll Gate All –Age School, Toll Gate, Clarendon, Jamaica. The first cohort of the Moxey Scholars will be recognized at the 2007 awards banquet. (Application packet and procedures to follow and will be available on the website.) These young people, selected by a committee, will:
    1. Submit a completed application packet by the designated date
    2. Successfully complete an interview process with selection committee
    3. Actively participate in one or more of the sports development programs and/or projects supported and sponsored by the Foundation
    4. Improve and/or maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better for the year
    5. Work with a Foundation assigned mentor for at least one year.
